At Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premeir developer of principled business leaders. Our purpose at Clemson University is to build a strong sense of business among the student body as well as the community. Alpha Kappa Psi is a Co-ed Professional Business Fraternity. It was created at New York University on October 5, 1904. Here at Clemson University, the Omega Upsilon Chapter was founded on April 9, 2005. National History

Alpha Kappa Psi was founded in 1904 at New York University on the principles of promoting institutions of business education, developing future leaders and fostering appreciation for higher ideals in business. Today the fraternity has grown to become the oldest and largest professional business fraternity in the world. With nearly 240,000 initiated members and more than 200 chapters, it is among the 20 largest college fraternities. The men and women of AKPsi reflect the world’s diversity and are united by a common interest in business.

Guided by five core values, Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on providing ethical leadership and professional development. Through educational programs, community service and a hands-on application of formal education, Alpha Kappa Psi students use the business skills they are taught in the classroom to acquire life skills such as the art of compromise, consensus building, project management, interviewing and networking.
